The Yangtze Gold 1 Made Its First Cruise in May of 2011

The Yangtze Golden 1- a luxury cruise ship with a total investment of 0.12 billion RMB, built by Chongqing Tourism Investment Group has made its first cruise on May 19, 2011.

The Yangtze Golden 1 combines several important tourism factors: transportation, accommodation, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment. It is a 5-star hotel floating on the Yangtze River. There are complete entertainment and recreation facilities on the ship: large cabins with balconies (from which you can enjoy the beautiful sceneries), executive suites, presidential suites, business pedestrian, snack bar, cigar bar, cyber cafe, book bar, children's fun park, sauna, Chinese and western health clinic, SPA, rotary hall, multifunctional hall, helicopter apron, open air swimming pool, small-sized golf, big theatre and cinema, conference rooms with simultaneous interpretation, and 4 sightseeing elevators. Chongqing Tourism Investment Group disclosed that they have received thousands of orders so far.

The Yangtze Golden 1 is the smallest one among the ten luxury cruise ships which will be built by Chongqing Tourism Investment Group in next 2 years. It is 136 meters long and 19.6 meters wide. Its maximum capacity is 355 persons. The second batch of 4 cruise ships under building are 149.8 meters long and 24 meters wide. Their maximum capacity reaches to 500 persons. Each ship takes a cost of 0.17 billion RMB. The third batch of 5 cruise ships are the largest and the most luxury ones among the cruise ships on the Yangtze River. They are 153.8 meters long and 32.2 meters wide. Their maximum capacity reaches to 700 persons. Each ship takes a cost of 0.22 billion Yuan.
