Construction of Three Gorges Resort Will be Started in October

On July 11 of 2011, Shangwei - the deputy head of Wushan County, convened the relevant departments to have a discussion about the pre-project construction progress of Longxin Wushan Three Gorges Resort. The reporter learned from the conference that the construction of Chongqing Longxin Wushan Three Gorges Tourist Resort will be started in October, and this project involves a total investment of 3 billion RMB.

Wushan County started the pre-project work actively since the cooperative agreement was signed with Chongqing Longxin Real Estate Group. The leading group of the construction project and the task breakdown for the construction of supporting facilities have been reported to the county government. The leading group members have been in their places. Meanwhile, Longxin Real Estate Group has started the overall plan and will be completed in August. The topographic surveying and mapping had been completed, and the initial assessment of the geologic hazards will be finished in this month. The overall scope of the construction land, the scope of the first 1,000 mu construction land and the relevant materials will be submitted in this month.

Shangwei required that the Investment Promotion Bureau of the county should urge Longxin Property Group to work out a detailed project plan and urge each department to accomplish its tasks well at every stage. The Development and Reform Committee of the county should urge and coordinate the approval and the initiation of the project, and strive to be the city-level key construction project of Chongqing next year. The Land and Resources Bureau of the county should make a good plan for the land requisition and land reclamation. The Water Service Bureau of the county should make out a project of the water used in construction as soon as possible. The Electric Power Supply Bureau of the county should effectively solve the electric power supply problem. The Forestry Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Municipal Construction Committee of county should make a good preparation for the smooth start of the project according to respective duties.
