A Brief Introduction to Lesser Three Gorges
Lesser Three Gorges is located in the Wushan Mountain, in the lower reaches of the Daning River. It is the general terms of Longmen Gorge, the Bawu Gorge and the Dicui Gorge. It is 60 kilometers long, adjacent to the Three Gorges of Yangtze River. There is a total 20,000 mu (1 mu=666.67 square meters) area of woods and bamboos. In 1991, it was enlisted in the "Top Forty Tourist Resorts in China". In May the 8th 2007, the Lesser Three Gorges are listed as the national AAAAA tourist area by the Chinese National Tourism Administration.
