15:00-17:00: Take shore excurision to Fengdu, visiting either the "Ghost City", known for its statuess of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill, or the new relocation village, built for families who have moved as a result of the Yangtze's rising waters brought about by the Three Gorges Dam.

Day 2 Enter the Three Gorges/Daning River "Lesser Three Gorges"/Ship locks

07:30-08:00: Sail through the Qutang Gorge which is the shortest, narrowest and most dramatic one among the three gorges.

09:00-13:00: Wushan-shore excursion to the Lesser Three Gorges which are narrower than the Three Gorges, but very impressive.

13:30-15:00: Sail through the Wu Gorge which is known for its quiet beauty and forest-covered mountains.

16:00-18:00: Sail through Xiling Gorge (western section).

18:00: Farewell Dinner

20:00-24:00: Sail through the Three Gorges dam ship locks.

Day 3 Three Gorges Dam/Yichang

06:30: Breakfast and Morning Coffee

07:00-09:30: visit to the Three Gorges Dam in Xiling Gorge; it is the largest dam in the world.

09:30-11:00: Sail through Xiling Gorge (eastern section).

11:00-12:30: Pass the ship lock of the Gezhou Dam.

Day 4 Wuhan

08:00 -08:30: Breakfast and Morning Coffee

09:30-11:00: Culture activities on board

14:00-17:30: Shore excursion of Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province. Visit the Hubei Provincial Museum.

Day 5 Huangshan

07:00-07:30: Breakfast and Morning Coffee

08:30-18:00: Shore excursion to Huangshan (Yellow Mountain"), one of China's most famous mountain ranges. Travel to this royal retreat through some of the country's most scenic rural areas.

Day 6 Nanjing

07:00-07:30: Breakfast and Morning Coffee

08:00-17:30: Visit Nanjing, where you ill tour the Sun Yat-sen Memorial and a Qing Dynasty style Bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple.

Day 7 Arrive in Shanghai

09:00: Arrive in Shanghai, China's dynamic international commercial center.
