Zhouyi Park of Fuling District

Zhouyi Park is formerly called Dianyi Cave. It is on the north bank of Yangtze River and faces Fuling City across the river. According to Fuzhou Record, Cheng Yi (a famous educator and philosopher of Northern Song Dynasty) once wrote his Yi here for 6 years and finished his masterpiece Yizhuan. Here is the origin of Cheng Yi's philosophy. The west wall of the park is marked with "Dianyi Cave".

Dianyi Cave is an artificial grotto, and "Dianyi Cave" is marked on the mouth of the cave. There are poetries left by Zhu Xi (a famous philosopher and thinker of Southern Song Dynasty) when he visited here.

Zhouyi Park - Cliffside Inscription

The main spot of Zhouyi Park is the Cliffside Inscription which is 400 meters long and 20 meters high. There are more than 80 handwritings of the celebrities through the ages, such as Huang Tingjian (a famous calligrapher and poet of Northern Song Dynasty), Zhu Xi, Lu You (a famous poet of Southern Song Dynasty) and Wang Shizhen (a famous poet of Qing Dynasty). There is a Buddha Pagoda on the cliff and several shrines to Buddha. Besides, there are also relics of Biyun Pavilion, Gouliang Hall, Zhiyuan Pavilion, Sanwei House, Sanxian Tower, Sixian Hall and Beiyan College.

Fuling District of Chongqing

Fuling District is 120 kilometers away from Chongqing city. Fuling city is on the south bank of Yangtze River. It was Zi Town of Ba County in Qin Dynasty. Fuling is located at the Confluence of Wujiang River and Yangtze River. It was named Fujiang after Wujiang River. Later it was named Fuling since most of the mausoleums of the ancestors of Ba Kingdom are here. Fuling is the hometown of tuber mustard in China. The production of tuber mustard here has a history of more than 100 years. Mustard tuber of Fuling is famous both at home and abroad since it is characterized by fresh, savory, tender, and crisp.
