In most area of down reaches of the Yangtze River, the temperature is between 4℃ and 6℃, temperature in Hunan, Jiangxi is between 6℃ and 7℃, and in south of the Yangtze River is below 4℃.The warm center of the Yunnan-Kweichow Plateau is almost over 6℃, and the highest can reach 15℃, while the east part is under 4℃. On the west of Jinsha River, the temperature is about 0℃, while the east part is 4℃ below zero. Temperature in river source area is very low, almost is 16℃ below zero.

Yangtze River Weather – Temperature in April

The temperature in almost areas of the middle and down stream is between 16 ℃ and 18℃. Temperature in north of the Yangtze River and Yangtze River Delta is between 14℃ and 15℃, the south of Nanling reached 18℃. In Yunnan–Kweichow Plateau, temperature in west warm center reached about 25℃, while the east low temperature center is about 12℃. Temperature in west of Jinsha River is over 10℃, and the east part is under 4℃. The average temperature in river source areas is below zero.

In July, temperature in most area of the Yangtze River is over 28℃. Temperature in Sichuan Basin is between 26℃ and 28℃, west of Yunnan- Kweichow Plateau is between 24℃ and 26℃, while the east part is under 20℃. In Jinsha River area, temperature in west area is 18℃, while in east is 12℃. The average temperature in river source area is about 8℃.

The average temperature in south of the Yangtze River area is between 18℃ and 20℃. Average temperature of north area and Yangtze River Delta is about 17℃. In the upper stream, temperature of Sichuan Basin is about 18℃. In Yunnan-Kweichow Plateau, temperature in west warm area is about 16℃, the middle part can reach 21℃, while the east cold area is under 12℃. In Jinsha River area, temperature of west is 12℃, east is under 6℃. In the river source area, the north area is 4℃ below zero, while the south area is 2℃ below zero.
