Xianren Stream

Xianren Stream (Immortal Stream) Ecotourism Area is made up of Immortal Ropeway, Xianhe Cave (Crane Cave) and Xianren Stream.

Xianren Stream - Immortal Ropeway

Immortal Ropeway is 888 meters long and has a height difference of 123.8 meters. There are 68 double chairs on the ropeway. It is the only sightseeing ropeway of Yichang City. Take on the ropeway, visitors could appreciate the beautiful landscape of Xianren Stream, and that would be an exhilarating experience.

Xianren Stream - Xianhe Cave

Xianhe Cave is 1180 meters deep and covers an area of 3000 square meters. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. It has an invariable temperature of 18℃ all year round. It is well known for its mysterious cave and various landscapes with peculiar and exquisite shapes. There are winding paths, various postures and carriages of stalagmites, stalactites, Karst pillars, and Karst flowers in the cave.

Xianren Stream

Xianren Stream is 6.8 kilometers long. It is a valley of Xiling Gorge. It is said once there was a fairy bathed and groomed in the stream; hence it was named Xianren Stream (also named Fairy Stream). There are more than 200 species of trees and more than 180 species of animals. The coverage rate of forest here reaches 98 percent. There is abundant phytoncide in the air, which has a bactericidal effect and is helpful to the treatment of disease. So it is really a good place for a "forest bathe".

Other Scenic Spots in Xianren Stream Ecotourism Area

Different sceneries are available here while you move your steps. There are Three Waterfalls: Milky Way Waterfall, Sandie(Triple-lap)Waterfall and Immortal Waterfall. Four Lakes: Fairy Maiden Lake, Sheshen Lake, Two Lakes Reflecting the Moon and Boat Trackers Lake. There are also Stone House of Ba People and Natural Reserve of Apes. Xianren Stream Area is characterized by steep mountains, peculiar stones, special caves, beautiful waterfalls, clean lakes, fog and dense forests. Yi Shunding – a famous poet of Qing Dynasty wrote a poem to describe the beautiful landscape of here: you could look up to hear the cry of the apes on the mountain or take a overlook of the fishes in the lake, you could appreciate the various clouds, mist and peculiar stones. You could enjoy the green and dense forests here even in winter, you could also admire the waterfalls and vines.
