Yangtze Victoria Cruises hired award winning celebrity chef and hospitality consultant Walter Staib, with five decades of experience, Chef Staib is a leader in the field, and has advised many large hotel chains and created nearly five hundred restaurants globally. He authored the books Black Forest cuisine and City Tavern – Recipes from the Birthplace of American Cuisine, which include recipes he introduced aboard Victoria Cruises. Chef Staib's nationally-televised PBS cooking program, A Taste of History, has been honored with three Emmy Awards.

Cuisine on Yangtze Victoria Cruises – Dining Room

Meals are served in a single-seating Dynasty Dining Room. Sumptuous western and Chinese buffets are offered at breakfast, lunch and dinner. An elegant Captain's Farewell Banquet is served on the final night of the cruise.

In addition to the main Dynasty Dining Room, Victoria Cruises now offers a separate a la carte dining room on the Victoria Anna, Victoria Jenna, Victoria Katarina, Victoria Lianna and Victoria Selina. A la carte dining is available without additional charge to passengers pre-booking Suites and upgraded Superior Cabins on Executive Decks, or for a supplementary charge for passengers in Superior Cabins on other decks.
